Rubin's deli is awesome

Very sad.....this was truly a childhood favorite sub shop! As a kid, I remember the great taste of the hot Italian dressing putting a slight burn on my lips, but loving the best Italian sub in the mid-Ohio valley. Sadly, the politics and degradation in quality has ruined the nostalgic experience of my childhood (late 70's and all through the 80's). I still love my childhood local favorites The Pizza Place, Napoli's and JR's Donuts. This place was once among those greats.....but no more. Just very sad.

The absolute best hoagies. Hope this tradition will continue long into the future. Rubin’s has been a Parkersburg staple for decades! Wonderful!

Good food, prompt service

Many Fridays I remember my mom bringing home corned beef, peppered beef, pastrami, potato and macaroni salad and those awesome Kosher dill pickles. It was a tradition in our household growing up. Also my mom taking me for Kosher hot dogs was a treat. Mark Cumberledge

Love the sandwich selection made the way you want. A real sandwich not a franchise store with that cardboard taste. The added pickle is a nice add. Almost makes me feel like I am back in a NY deli.

Incredible sub! The owner, Cory, is a hospitable host and dedicated to putting out a great product. Highly highly recommend!!!

Excellent food in WV

I ordered my favorite ham and Cheese sub. It was wrapped in foil paper so therefore horribly soggy. For the first time I was extremely disappointed in Rubin's. The flavor was excellent but the bread ruined my sandwich.

A bit pricey, ok food. Might go back in a pinch, but wouldn't make a big to-do about it.

Hoping that the new management and ownership helps this local business thrive. I wrote a review for Das Rookhaus and commented on the owner of Rubins. That was the previous owner, not current.

Potato salad is amazing! Turkey sub I got today had a vinegar taste to it. Overall food is good! Service is always awesome!

This is my favorite sandwich place around town. I always get their Turkey sub and it never fails to satisfy.

We have been coming back for over 30 years. They do it right.

Rubens deli is under new management. They will not be around long. I used to eat there all the time. Got a Reuben two slices of meat. Very thin for $8.00. What a rip off. I would not recommend eating there anymore. Very bad and disappointing.

We were told there are new owners and that's why the food is not the same and it's also more expensive.

The pizza subs aren't what they used to be when previous owners ran it. However, their Itaian sub is pretty good.
